Hilbers Construction was formed in 1962, primarily as a builder of custom homes. In 1983, the company became L & K Construction, reflecting a partnership with father and founder, Leroy Hilbers and his eldest son, Kurt. With their combined talents, L & K expanded into commercial construction, with a focus on restaurants. In 1988, L & K Construction incorporated and became Hilbers, Inc. Shortly thereafter, Leroy’s sons, Larry and Glenn became partners. Tom Jones, with the Hilbers team for over 12 years as a Project Manager, became a partner in 2001.

With the combined resources of education and project experience, Hilbers’ project base has steadily expanded through the years to cover virtually all aspects of commercial construction.
